My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were huge and modern, impeccably clean, and the well-stocked fridge was a nice touch. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. The location was perfect for exploring Battery Point and Salamanca Place, but a bit of a walk to the harbor. The dining was satisfactory overall, although some improvements could be made to the variety of choices.

The hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms might not quite hit the mark in terms of star rating, but they provide picturesque views of both the mountains and the harbour. The service is commendable, even though our stay was short, the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. The location strikes a balance between serenity and accessibility, being away from the city bustle yet still convenient for sightseeing and harbor gazing. The dining experience could be more varied, though the hotel offers the usual breakfast fare at an additional cost.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with a beautiful waterfront view from my Tower Executive room. The room was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, though the abundance of yellow shades was a bit overwhelming at first. The service, especially at the entertainment and bar areas, was exceptional, going above and beyond to accommodate us. The hotel's location on the outskirts of Hobart CBD, near shops and eateries, was convenient despite being uphill from the next lift. While the breakfast was a bit bland and uninspiring, the fabulous dining view and the homestyle Japanese dishes were delightful. Overall, a great place to stay that could benefit from some updates.

After a day of exploring Tassie, I must say the hotel was a delightful surprise. The rooms are all very modern and stylish, making my stay incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were exceptional; I wish I could take them home with me. The little extras added a touch of luxury to my experience.

The hotel had a beautiful view over the water and featured remote-controlled curtains, two large TVs, a huge shower with a large shower head plus a handheld shower head, a bath, a walk-in robe, and a spacious sitting room. However, we encountered ants in the room, resulting in a room change. The lack of clear information about breakfast options led us to pay for room service breakfast while it was included in the price but required going to another location. Despite being a little old, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, with impeccable cleanliness.

The hotel was really outdated, and major renovations were ongoing, causing a terrible experience. Although the service was top-notch, the noise from the renovations made it impossible to sleep past 7 am. Additionally, the lack of basic amenities like a toaster was disappointing, and the $200 deposit requirement was unexpected.

My accidental twin share booking only resulted in a double bed and a limited water view, not ideal considering the ongoing improvement work. However, the complimentary service on our Wedding Anniversary made our stay more memorable despite encountering grumpy and unfriendly interactions at the Bistro.
